DENNIS GANC

Dennis Ganc grew up in the small town of Drums, Pennsylvania on his family farm. The oldest of four boys, they grew up around the outdoors, hunting and fishing with their Father and Grandfather. His first deer was a nice 7 point taken on the family farm with a Winchester .32 Special. That day solidified his passion for the outdoors and the hunting lifestyle! Over the years he and his brothers would learn the woods from time spent with their Father and Grandfather, what to look for, where to place stands and personal experiences.

Involved in many outdoor clubs through school growing up, Dennis knew he wanted to make this more than just a hobby, but a way of life. Even when he attended college at Penn State University, Dennis never lost sight of keeping the outdoors in his life. Amidst his busy schedule of studies and playing baseball he found time to hunt, learning new areas around his school to hunt and fish. Even finding the time to come home and hunt with his family, which he loved the most, creating those memories you cherish for a lifetime.

As an outdoorsman one must know patience but persevere and push. Throughout his career, Dennis has worked in many fields which he credits to making him the well-rounded man he is today. His passion of sports carried over to his career in Strength & Conditioning/Health & Fitness. Working in the strength programs at Penn State after his playing days to help others excel, to his time with the Detroit Tigers as part of the strength training team. Being a smaller person, having to train folks bigger than he, confidence in what he did was a must! That confidence carried over to where he is today, currently working as the General Manager for an Ambulance Service.

Both these paths require fast, quick thinking and decision making in order for the outcome to be positive. When he leaves his office behind and heads to the tree stand, this thinking doesn’t change. In the woods, one needs to be alert and aware of their surroundings or you might miss a very important sign that will make or break your hunt. Dennis attributes the skills he has learned from his many career paths to helping mold him into the outdoorsmen he is and continues to be today.

Dennis is married to his lovely wife, Theresa, and has three wonderful stepchildren, Nicole, Rachel and Brett along with two grandchildren, Liam and Madison. The love and support of his family fuels his desire to provide for them in every way possible as a husband, father, grandfather and friend. Taking his son Brett and teaching him about hunting and fishing, being able to pass it down, is what guides his passion to constantly learn everything he can about this lifestyle that he grew up with from a very young age.
